In this video we show you how to make a basic air compressor powered PVC marshmallow blaster. We kept the design simple and basic so that you all could help shape the design of our next one when we upgrade. We’d love your advice on what upgrades to make. We will walk you through every step and lay out the pieces you need to make your blaster. Build one with us and have a BLAST (pun intended) doing it!
Here’s a parts list to make your own:
Here’s a Air Safety Blow Gun: Air Blow Gun
In case you don’t have any spare fitting laying around: Quick Disconnect Air FIttings
If your like us and don’t want to cannibalize your good air hose for this project: Air Hose
For the pipe fittings we suggest sourcing your local hardware store. They would appreciate your patronage!
- 1/8″ close pipe nipple
- 1/8″ to 1/2″ reducer bushing –
- 1/2″ female to 1/2″ slip PVC adapter –
- 1/2″ slip PVC Tee –
- 1/2″ PVC Cap 10′ of 1/2″ PVC (you’ll only need about 3′, but you’ll need more when we make some upgrades)
If you don’t have an air compressor yet, its a great idea to look at one when you have a little extra money in your DIY funds. We have used our pancake compressor a ton since getting it, even though we have a large one out in our shed. Convenience is key! If you want a suggestion of one to look at: Air Compressor
