In this video we are going to show you how to finish the loft bed we started in the last video.  We’re going to add remote controlled LED lights under the bed, make a railing out of conduit and build a cup and remote holder.  This really finishes the bed and gives it a custom look and feel.  If you haven’t seen Part One, where we build the frame for this bed, we strongly encourage you to check it out before watching this video.  You can check it out here:

Build A Loft Bed – Part #1

Materials needed:

2 – 1″ x 8′ LG Outside Corner Trim Moulding (actual dimension is 1-1/8″)

1 – 1 x 6 x 6′

1 – Flexible LED Self-Adhesive Strip Lighting (Click the link here: LED Strip Lighting)

1 – 1/2″ x 10′ EMT Conduit

If you don’t foresee ever needing a conduit bender ever again, you can also purchase a 90° fitting for the conduit – The only drawback to this is that it will use machine screws that stick out slightly to attach to the conduit.
